Position General Manager – Lithium Electronics Factories Southern China and Taiwan
Client Our client is one of the largest and most respected manufacturers of electronic components in Asia – they now seek three General Managers to control their factory operations in Southern China and Taiwan.
Job Description
- Report to COO
- Full P&L responsibility
- ensure the sound operation and effective control within the production plant in accordance with the company directions and relevant laws and regulations of the PRC
- review the production workflow and recommend the cost saving or resources allocation strategies whenever necessary.
- to develop a strong management team to support the continuous growth through people development and succession planning.
- Change Management, Business Transformation, Performance Improvement
- Cost cutting, max. manpower, drive for changes
- Dynamic, energetic, smart
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree – ideally in Business and/or Operations Management
- A minimum of 12 years factory management experience of which 5 years or above in a similar position. Proven track record in effective factory management in PRC.
- Strategic thinking with strong business acumen, dynamic, self-motivated and result-oriented.
- Good financial sense and cost awareness.
- Excellent leadership skill and management techniques
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Putonghua.
- Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing experience much preferred
- Good interpersonal skills and tactful personality
